Samantha Bee: Video Interview with 'The Daily Show' Comedian

As a veteran correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart for almost a decade, comedic star, Samantha Bee, isn’t afraid to ask tough questions during interviews; or give her own humorous opinion on current events and politics that liberal viewers of the show can’t seem to get enough of.

When covering news commentary, Samantha’s ability of delivering quip remarks with impeccable timing has garnered her respect from fellow comedians and fans alike. In an exclusive video interview with TheCelebrityCafe.com, the Toronto native talks about her experience working on the Daily Show and her most recent project: Teaming up with Dove’s Close the Case on Care campaign, which will coincide with Truth Tuesday—a national celebration (the day after April Fool’s Day) that’s dedicated to “coming clean” by uncovering hidden truths.

Interview with reality star Khloe Kardashian Odom

There are various comments that come to mind when news media outlets write about reality star family: the Kardashians. And even if these statements are either positive or negative, it seems to have little effect on the family's publicity machine.

The Kardashians have and continue to make a name for themselves whether it is through memorabilia, or their clothing stores, D-A-S-H, or even spin-offs of their most popular E! show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. But it's more than red carpet events and TV appearances that the Kardashians focus on. They have also given back to the community through charity work and partnering with several non-profit organizations for a cause.

TheCelebrityCafe.com recently spoke with one of the three most popular sisters of the family: Khloe Kardashian Odom. During the brief interview, Khloe, discusses about her Generation Know Campaign and how important it is to empower young girls with knowledge about what they can expect when reaching puberty.

TheCelebrityCafe.com: What is your involvement with Kotex’s Generation Know Campaign?

Khloe Kardashian Odom: My involvement is just getting the word out about Generation Know. We recently launched this website for young girls that have questions about their bodies, including their health and really anything else they want to know. Young ladies can get the facts about such things through these discussion forums, without feeling shy or embarrassed about it. I am all about girl empowerment and building self-esteem.

TCC: As a teen did you ever have the talk with your mom, Kris, when you became a woman?

Khloe: The mother and daughter talk can feel a bit uncomfortable. (Laughs) My mom would definitely do her best to give me that talk, though it was always awkward. I really wish I did have the resources such as GenerationKnow.com when I was younger, because you’re not always comfortable asking your parents about everything.

TCC: Have your younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie, ever come to you or your older sisters, Kim and Kourtney, for any womanly advice?

Khloe: My younger sisters come to me all the time when they have questions about their bodies. I think that is why you’re supposed to have sisters -- to give each other good advice. When I teamed up with U by Kotex three years ago, Kendall and Kylie were going through puberty. During that time, I was helping them out by offering them lots of information about the changes they were going through both physically and emotionally. It was just so ironic how around that time U by Kotex reached out to me. That is one of the reasons why I really wanted to team up with them, because through my little sisters I learned just how much false information is out there. I really do think they should teach more about this kind of stuff at school.

TCC: Who do you look up to as a woman?

Khloe: I really look up to my mom and older sisters. I even look up to my younger sisters. I’m impressed how Kendall and Kylie have handled there teenage years in such a miraculous way compared to the way I handled my teenage years. It’s pretty phenomenal to watch.

TCC: I know this is off topic, but by any chance do you know if Kim and Kanye [West] have decided what to name their unborn child?

Khloe: No, they haven’t yet. She’s not even out of her first trimester. So we don’t even know what the baby’s sex is. We’ll just have to wait and find out.
